User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Okay at first, but then it fizzled out…
This was my first wireless mouse, and I enjoyed the convenience of going wireless. I have had this mouse for about a year and a half, and after a while, it seemed that it would not respond. The pointer would move when I would move the mouse, but clicking would have no effect. I would have to click many times to wait for the mouse to respond. This has been happening more frequently within the last six months. I have changed the battery a couple of times, and even did so recently but that did not improve performance. Today I received the Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000 ( D1T-00002 ) to replace it and put the wireless mouse away. I give it three stars because it is comfortable, compact, ergonomic, and was fun at first. But I had to move on. It was too frustrating.

5 Stars Great product
I purchased this for work, and have been extremely pleased with its performance. It is very responsive, and works on any surface. I liked it so much that I purchased a second one for home and even my three year old can use it with ease.

5 Stars microsoft wireless mouse
I love this item. I used to have a mini mouse but it bit the dust. This mouse fits my hand so much better. It is sensitive to what I want it to do.

5 Stars just what I needed!
this is so easy to use and control. the mouse sits on a shelf under the monitor, and there’s no disruption in functionality or accuracy.

3 Stars workable
I dont know if only I encountered this.. But it has slow reception. Rest it is a good wireless option. Its just slow in catching up signal slow sometimes which is annoying at time for a person like me who would not like to have lots of patience with mouse.

5 Stars Excellent Value
The mouse does everything its supposed to. I don’t mind the smaller size at all and I’m a big guy at 6′2″. Make sure you download the software for it since its the only way to get a good balance between mouse speed and touchpad speed - and you get the horizontal scrolling by tilting the wheel. The logitech download is a bit confusing though. Find the download for the cordless mouse. It should be about 50mb. The smaller file doesn’t do anything useful.

If all your usb ports are on the side of the laptop you might consider the model with the really small usb dongle since it is a bit annoying sticking out on the side. However, given the price difference I’m still pleased with the choice.

5 Stars Excellent mouse, great price.
I bought this mouse for my laptop and love it. It is a little bigger than the smallest laptop mice available, but it still fits into one of the internal pockets of my Dell laptop case. Although the base footprint is only about two inches wide by three and a half inches long, like most mice, this one has a lot of sculpted edges and protruding curves (if curves can protrude) so the extreme measurements are: one and a half inches at the highest point (basically the palm rest), two and three sixteenths inches at the widest point (across the top thru the center of the scroll wheel) and three and three quarters inches long. One feature I like is that the mouse turns on and off when you slide the mini USB plug in or out of the base holder respectively, thus extending battery life. You can also leave the USB plug detached and flip the on/off switch on the bottom of the mouse with a fingertip. What I don’t particularly like is that the USB plug, when cradled in the bottom, adds to the overall height of the mouse and prevents it from sitting flat. Not a big issue for storing the mouse since you can flip the mouse switch to off and store the USB plug separately, like I do. Software downloads are online, but I didn’t even bother with it. I just used the Windows drivers. I have had no problems with the operation (plugged and played), works great and the price was decent.

5 Stars Excellent mouse!
Bought a few of these for some coworkers and relatives. They all love it. Excellent battery duration (like 4-6 months in full office use).

5 Stars Great product for a good price
I wasn’t really enjoying my new laptop until I received this little mouse. Now I’m thinking about getting rid of my desktop! I haven’t used it since this mouse arrived!

3 Stars I like this Mouse….but requires downloads for vista use
When I plugged the mouse in, Vista searched the internet for a driver but couldn’t find it. I went to logitech website and downloaded. The cute little mouse works fine now. I like that this mouse has an actual on-off switch that the user can manually turn it off. Sliding the USB connector will also turn of the mouse. (the Microsoft notebook mouse only turns off by snapping the USB connector in-I had to take the battery out when I took the mouse away from the PC by mistake).

Also logitech included the battery. (1 AA). Mouse has LED to indicate if the battery is low. Good packaging as well. Plastic is perforated so it’s not too hard to open the package.

The USB stick on this mouse is close to full size. Logitech also has mice with a tiny usb connector (easier to lose).
