I am interested in buying a new laptop but don’t know which one to get. My last two desktop computers have been Compaq but was recommended an HP Pavillion at Office Depot last week.

Everytime I close my HP laptop up it stops my music and all my programs and goes to sleep/standby mode. Is there a way to prevent it from doing this?

I want to buy an hp laptop but my budget is a bit limited. So, i was wondering what are the parts of laptop that i can easily change later?
For example, i like the hp pavillion 6820, but its ram is 2 GB, and video card is geforce nvidia 8400 GS, moreover it’s just Vista Basic.
