User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Cool
Preferring one mouse over another is a lot like preferring 1% milk versus 2% milk - whatever you’re used to is the best. This mouse is easy to get used to and it will become a favorite. And it’s so cute and small! Seriously, no connectivity issues, great styling, and as advertised it is the smallest USB receiver on the market. Get it.

5 Stars One of the best mice ever
Would love to see some sort of internal battery that you could charge via USB rather than AAA batteries, other than that this is the best mouse I’ve ever used.

5 Stars Best mouse I’ve owned
This has to be one of the best mouse (mice?) that I’ve owned! Bar none, the response time and speed is just amazing. Let’s start with the super small USB adapter. I’ve had it in my laptop now for 3 months and never even noticed that it was there. Then you’ve got the mouse and software. The logitech software installs cleanly without a hitch. I just made sure I only loaded the driver as Logitech wants to load a bunch of other crap. Then the mouse is an awesome little device. Easily fits in my hand. My hand rests on the mouse and not to the side. The vertical scroll is very responsive. Actually so is the movement speed. Very very responsive mouse. Definitely my favorite. It’s even better than my Logitech MX Revolution which says a lot.

Comes with a carrying case. Does take batteries so useful to have on hand. I’d say once you load in the USB adapter, you’ll find yourself leaving it in always. It’s so small, it doesn’t catch on your laptop bag. WINNER!

5 Stars Love it!
I absolutely love this little thing! It fits perfectly in my hand and my fingers fall at the right place. The little receiver is barely noticeable. I don’t even take it out of the USB port. The only downside is I have to buy AAA batteries.

5 Stars FIVE STAR
I’ve been using the Logitech VX Nano Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks for over a Year Now and it’s Simply Perfect!

Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 LED Light Color Silver

Mighty Bright XtraFlex2 LED Light Color Silver

Our Newest Light! Two Super LED lights in one head gives you the lighting power of 6 normal LED’s. Brilliant light output! You have the option of using one or two of the Super LED lights with just a simple tap to our proprietary sensor switch. The flexible neck allows you to position your lighting anywhere you want it.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars It works!!!!
As a chronic insomniac, I’ve been on a long search for the perfect booklight. This may not be it, but it comes pretty damn close. The light is bright — even using only one bulb — so I can read without constantly moving the light. The battery use is negligible, I’m still using the factory issued bulbs after three weeks, so I don’t have to fuss with a converter and cord. The clip is generous and the neck very flexible. This is the first light of its type that I can clip to the headboard of my bed and it illuminates a whole page book that’s lying next to my pillow (I like to read lying on my side). I can’t speak to it’s long term survival; but for now, I’m a happy customer.

1 Star A poor light…mighty bright, but mighty poor..
Less than a year old and it constantly blinks on and off due to loose connection, Do not recommend at all…. May be mighty bright, but mighty poor quality.

4 Stars Good quality, bright, bluish - will use
I received one of these (the black version) a few days ago and my verdict is that I am likely to use it when reading books at night.

Brief overview:

- 2 super-bright LED’s with lenses

- light has more blue and very little red, or yellow (think of a steady neon light)

- uses 3 (THREE) AAA batteries

- 40-hour battery life (claim is made on the package, not verified by me)

- power supply not provided

- relatively long, flexible arm

- can turn on 1 or 2 LED’s

- solid build

- a bit heavy but had no problem using it with a paperback

I will definitely use this lamp when reading books at night. I doubt I will ever use it as a flashlight or a work light unless I had no other choice.

2 Stars Cant hold its head up high
The light it gives off is good, the clip is good.

UNFORTUNATLEY the neck is SO WEAK, it flops down if you are using it for long periods, or you move to quickly, or are using it in a plane/car and have a slight jolt. It’s so much of a nuisance I gave it away and am looking for another type.

DISAPOINTING single flaw, but a MAJOR flaw.

2 Stars Not as good as the original, 1 LED light
I own the original mighty brite light and much prefer it- this newer version, with 2 LEDs, is inferior. The light output is not as bright (unless the two we have are lemons) and the switch makes it far too easy to accidentally turn the light on while traveling, etc. which kills your batteries. The original light had a manual switch that was better at preventing this from happening. Go with the old one……

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Much Better Than The Original
I purchased this book cover after reading the many reviews about it. Like another person, I am also one who likes to read laying down, and I also encountered the problem of my Kindle falling out of the cover that came with it. And let me tell you, this cover is MUCH better. First of all, like a previous reviewer said, the color is not the bright Christmas red like in the picture….it is a very nice shade of dark red. The one big plus for me is that my Kindle doesn’t fall out of this cover when I am reading laying down, since there are supports on all 4 corners. (The support on the upper right hand corner is elastic, so it is easy to get to the on-off and Whispernet switches) It is also much thicker than the cover that came with the Kindle, so it provides much better protection. Also, when folding the cover back during reading, there is much more room on the sides of the Kindles, so I find I am not accidentally pressing the next or previous page buttons. There is also enough room on the left hand side to attach a reading light without damaging the leather. Another plus are the pockets inside the cover and the pen holder. There are 2 pockets for your SD cards, as well as pockets for other things, like business cards. I keep a small notepad in the larger one. All in all, this cover is 100% better than the one that comes with the Kindle, and is very much worth the investment. You can’t go wrong with this cover. Oh, one other thing that I love about this cover….the smell of the leather. lol

5 Stars Great Kindle Cover….
This is a great Kindle cover because it is very sturdy, and the Kindle does not fall out of it like the original cover they send with the Kindle. I do especially like this cover because it is genuine leather, and gives the Kindle a sleek, executive look to it. Also, on the inside cover it has slots for business cards, a pen, or storage for slips of paper/notes you may need with you. THIS is the cover they should’ve sent with the purchase of the Kindle.

5 Stars Beautiful little case for Kindle
This thing is gorgeous! It’s a deeper red than the photos indicate, a rich glossy leather that looks and smells amazing. It holds the Kindle much better than the case that comes with it, and you never need to take it out so it’s well protected. I only wish my planner cover were this beautiful.

I have ordered the e-luminator booklight, which is supposed to fit right inside this thing and never needs to be removed. It looks like a great idea.

This cover really improves the clunky look of the Kindle and makes it a handsome thing to have in your bag or on your nighttable.

5 Stars I added an elastic band
I like this cover better than the original one except I missed the elastic band that holds the cover back. I added an elastic band to the M-edge. It’s a 14 inch elastic band sewed into a loop. It slips under the Kindle and around the back cover. It holds the cover back securely like the elastic band on the original one and also holds the cover closed so I don’t have to mess with that tab closure. Now I have the perfect cover. I find it’s much easier to hold the Kindle while reading if the cover isn’t flopping around.

5 Stars Very nice
Quality leather, much more secure than the case that comes with the Kindle. No worries about it falling to the floor anymore.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars A terriffic little computer! I love it
Having tried a competitor’s linux based system, I was expecting substandard performance. WRONG- This thing is quick. I wanted a basic netbook, but I also wanted the storage capacity for travel photos. The ACER has it! Best purchase I have made in a long time.

5 Stars Just What Was Needed
This case makes carrying the Acer Aspire One perfect. The corner restraining bands work fine. The case is a little large, but that is not really a problem. The computer works well with the case open, and that is very convenient.

3 Stars Pretty Good item
This item is OK. I wish I had looked around a little more before purchasing. I need more room to carry the power cord & external DVD. It is good for protection of my laptop though. Shop around to be sure you got the best deal!!!

5 Stars Smells weird but holds up great
It has a weird, almost toxic smell to it. This smell attaches to the laptop too, when it is brand new. Might go away soon, but otherwise great protection, has handles, works very nice.

4 Stars Just about right
Bought for the Acer Aspire One w/6 cell battery. This case is a tad oversized–perhaps 3/4 of an inch combined on the sides–so it’s not a perfect fit. The space won’t fit anything extra. It’s a great little case for that specific netbook (and diminishes the fingerprint problem if you leave the Aspire inside while using it), even though the fit is roomy.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Excellent bang for you buck.
Cheep and large. That was our two requirements when we purchased this. It meets both, and we’ve encountered no problems so far with pages falling out, zippers getting stuck, etc. We are also anticipating a healthy use of the fact that you can remove and move pages. Quite satisfied!

4 Stars Huge capacity…
This item has the potential for holding a lot of cd’s or dvd’s. My concern is that the zipper and the material that the zipper holds together is rather flimsy and I wonder if this will withstand full capacity without ripping or tearing. It doesn’t seem like it was built to stand up to much wear and tear (even just basic everyday stuff). I don’t have enough cd’s or dvd’s at the moment to test out what full capacity would be like but wanted to make sure that I posted my concerns for other potential buyers. Price seems kind of high for the material that this is made of.

5 Stars The only way to store.
The case logic’s are the best. I like the nylon ones. I store dvd’s in them at home. I currently have about 10 of them filled. The pages are held in by 1.5 inch straps and I have never had one rip out. The side handles are firmly attached. Best way to store lots of disc in very little space.

5 Stars Functional, yet melancholy
I rated this item a 5, which Amazon translates as “loved it”. But can one really be said to love a CD binder? This item is squarely in the realm of the functional: its rating comes not from being loved but by performing the task as advertised.

The last several (and growing) albums I’ve bought have been MP3 downloads (The Budos Band, Power of Soul, etc.) An MP3 download comes with no case, no insert, and a severely downsized piece of “cover art” data. There’s no physical storage needed,

other than the hard drive in your computer. And 1TB drives will be down into the “impulse purchase” range next year (2009).

We plan on consolidating several pieces of “home theater” equipment next year, by putting together an HTPC (home theater PC). It will, of course, act as a digital jukebox for the entire house, storing our combined music collection as magnetic fields instead of atoms.

This means, of course, “ripping” through our existing CDs. In 2009 it’s not “cool” to flash your music collection on countless shelves; you flash the newest iPod instead.

That’s the future, but traveling to the future always carries with it your accumulated past. Part of our accumulated past is the vast amount of music we’ve accumulated on plastic circles. (I also bring with me an LP collection; my wife is bemused.)

Once our music is firmly ensconced in the realm of the digital, the discs themselves become a curiosity, a mere token of ownership, and possibly a reminder of certain times in our journey through life, should any particular album hold that kind of emotional resonance based on when it was purchased or received.

Even as I take the discs and booklets out of jewel cases and slot them into the sleeves, I find myself wondering “why even keep the booklets?” In most cases they add nothing, some ancillary art of photos, perhaps, but nothing you’ll ever think about as you page through iTunes.

I suppose if you wish to devote time to keeping the discs in a pristine order as your disc collection changes, then perhaps the criticisms voiced by other reviews will apply to you. In my case, the ultimate fate of the CDs is to sit in the closet, taking reasonably little space, with some of the booklets kept for nostalgia.

So for my purpose, this product fits the bill. Perhaps it will for you as well.

5 Stars Great for storage
I have bought 3 of these so far over the past year. They work great. Very sturdy.
